Corporate and Major Donors
The Estate of Marcell Fontaine Hurst and Douglas Charles Hurst
The Marcell Fontaine Hurst and Douglas Charles Hurst Educational Fund – created a $100,000 fund in 2022.

Celebrating 200 years since the company was founded, Chantier Davie / Davie Shipbuilding stepped up as major donor in 2025, providing matching funds for the GIVING TUESDAY Campaign, effectively doubling our results.

2021 Landshark group outfitted its Tornado F4 hydro excavation vehicle in appearance to the Halifax Class frigate HMCS Regina, at the time painted with its retro naval camouflage (aka dazzle). “Our truck” as we like to call it, serves homage to the Royal Canadian Navy | Marine Royale Canadienne and the Royal Canadian Naval Benevolent Fund (today, the Navalis Foundation).
A percentage of every hour of operation of this unit is proudly used to support the Foundation.
Events and Campaigns

The Navy Bike Ride (NBR) encourages the well-being of our communities and families by motivating each other to be healthy through cycling and raising money for a good cause, making a difference to others who need help. The event has supported the RCNBF, now the Navalis Foundation since 2016, distributing event proceeds to the Foundation alongside Support Our Troops, and Soldier On.

GivingTuesday is day of giving, a call to action, held annually on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving (USA) encouraging people to give back through donations, volunteering, and acts of kindness to support charities and communities, shifting focus from consumerism to generosity. It's a collective effort to support causes, build stronger communities, and make a positive impact through various charitable activities.
